Deliveries

What areas of SoCal do you deliver to?

We deliver throughout Los Angeles County (excluding north of Agua Dulce), Orange County, and Inland Empire.

How do I find out if Fitness Kitchen delivers to my area?

While creating your order, the first question we ask is to input your zip code to confirm we deliver in your area.

How much is delivery?

Delivery Fees are a flat rate of $9 per day. Please note that we only deliver in the Southern California area. Fitness Kitchen is not nationwide.

How often are my meals delivered?

We deliver 5 days a week Monday thru Friday, with meals arriving overnight no later than 6am each morning. Saturday meals are included in the Friday meal delivery.

How will I receive my deliveries?

Your meal deliveries will arrive in an insulated cooler Fitness Kitchen bag. It is your responsibility to provide us in advance of your start date, a code, a key or a FOB if one is required for property accessibility.

What time will I get my delivery?

For new subscribers, first delivery will arrive within 72 hours or on a later date of your choosing. For ongoing subscribers, we delivery Monday thru Friday with meals arriving overnight no later than 6am each morning.

Who do I contact if I have an issue with my meal or delivery?

What should I do with the cooler bag after my meals are delivered?

Please place your empty cooler bag with re-usable ice packs back in the designated delivery spot, the same spot you requested we leave your meals. Our driver will exchange your empty cooler bag with a full bag of new meals. Do not include meal containers in the cooler bag – please recycle the containers on your own. The driver will not pick up bags filled with used containers. If you miss one night of leaving your empty bag out for pick-up, don’t worry! Just place 2 empty bags the following night.

What do I do with the cooler bag & ice packs?

The previous delivery cooler bag and ice packs are picked up when we make your next delivery. Kindly leave them in the designated drop-off spot. There will be additional charge per unreturned cooler bag and ice pack. There may be a pickup charge if returned bags are excessive.

What do I do if my bag is stolen?

Please call customer service at (310) 361-4143 or email us at info@fitnesskitchenla.com as soon as you are aware your bag is missing.

How do Fitness Kitchen subscriptions work?

A weekly subscription is the easiest, most convenient, most cost-effective option for eating clean, wholesome meals. No planning meals, no shopping, no cooking, no cleaning! We charge your card on a recurring weekly basis, and you receive uninterrupted deliveries of Southern California’s favorite meal delivery service. You can skip weeks of your subscription if you’re traveling or simply want a break and you can cancel your subscription at any time.

How does À La Carte work?

À La Carte is a weekly subscription with the freedom of choice. You have the option of selecting your own meals every week from a menu of over 50+ meals. Menus change every week. We do not offer omissions on À La Carte. All meals are delivered as described in the recipe. We also feature weekly specials that change weekly.

Is À La Carte portion-controlled?

À La Care comes in 2 portion-controlled sizes, Trim and Maintain.

What if my dietary lifestyle is Paleo?

The paleo plan is based on lean meats, fresh vegetables, fresh fruits, nuts. Paleo is free of grains, dairy, legumes and processed foods and is 100% soy, dairy and gluten free. This plan is a dedicated plan and comes in 2 sizes, trim (small) and maintain (large). We choose your meals each week based on the following:

The pescatarian plan is based on a fish and plant diet. Pescatarian is 100% soy, dairy and gluten free. This plan is a dedicated plan and comes in 2 sizes, trim (small) and maintain (large). We choose your meals each week based on the following:

What if I need meals that are Soy, Dairy or Gluten-free?

Our paleo, pescatarian and balanced plans are 100% soy, dairy and gluten free.

Our vegetarian meal plan includes minimal dairy and soy. Our Keto plan included minimal dairy.

What if my dietary lifestyle is more Balanced?

The balanced plan is designed for the person who wants to stay fit without worrying about what to eat. Balanced is 100% soy, dairy and gluten free. This plan is a dedicated plan and comes in 2 sizes, trim (small) and maintain (large). We choose your meals each week based on the following:

What if my dietary lifestyle is Vegetarian?

The vegetarian plan is based on seasonal vegetables and combines a variety of herbs, spices and grains. This plan is a dedicated plan and comes in one size, maintain (large). We choose your meals each week based on the following:

  • 45% Carb, 25%, 30% Protein
  • 1250 to 1400 calories for breakfast, lunch, dinner
  • B: 350-400 kcal, 40g Carbs, 21g Protein, 11g Fat
  • L: 450-500 kcal, 47g Carbs, 28g Protein, 15g Fat
  • D: 450-500 kcal, 56g Carbs, 31g Protein, 16g Fat

Afternoon Fuel. add: 300 cal (approx.) 33g Carbs, 18g Protein, 10g Fat

What are Add-Ons?

Add-Ons are additional products we offer such as bars, juices and snacks. When you order, you can choose to order a product as a one-time order or as a recurring order with your subscription. You can also order Add-Ons anytime you want with your subscription by updating your choices in your account under My Meals.

How much does it cost?

Meals range in cost between $9-$18 per meal depending on size. Afternoon Fuels are $8 and desserts are $6. First time orders include a one time non-refundable bag fee of $15.

How do coupon codes work?

In order to redeem any coupon code used when ordering from Fitness Kitchen, you must subscribe for a 2-week minimum of delivery service. A 2-week minimum order is required to redeem any coupon code used.

When do I get charged for my weekly subscription?

Your weekly subscription is renewed automatically every Thursday night at 9pm. You will be charged at that time for the upcoming week of delicious meals.

When I use a coupon, am I signing up for two weeks?

Any coupon code used by new subscribers requires a 2-week minimum subscription in order to be eligible to receive the discount.

How do I order more than one plan at once?

À La Carte, Keto and Vegetarian plans are weekly subscriptions. If you would like to order more than one meal plan (including À La Carte), you will need to add a new subscription by calling us (310) 361-4692 or by emailing us, info@fitnesskitchenla.com.

You can also order a new plan directly on our website.

Can I just try it out for one week?

Fitness kitchen is a weekly subscription meal service. You can try us for one week but you will need to sign up for a subscription to do so.

Can I purchase a month of service all at once?

We do offer the option to sign up for a month of service at time. If you would like to sign up for a longer-term service please email us at info@fitnesskitchenla.com or call us at (310) 361-4692.

How do you sign up with a couple or another family member?

Each weekly subscription is one meal plan. If you are planning to subscribe with a partner, spouse or other family member; each person will need to subscribe to a meal plan individually on our website. We can apply any additional subscription onto an existing account.

If I want to change plans, do I have to cancel?

Switching meal plans is easy and you can do it as often as you like. Please email us at info@fitnesskitchenla.com or call us at (310) 361-4692 and we will switch your meal plan. All changes to accounts must be submitted by Thursday at 9pm in order to be updated for the following week.

Do I have to place an order every week?

If you are on the À La Carte plan, you need to select your meals each week in your account under My Meals. The deadline for selecting meals is Thursday, 9pm PST, every week. If you do not select new meals for the week, you will receive the same meals as the week before with the exception of the weekly specials. The weekly specials will be selected for you by Chef Marieno based on your dietary lifestyle (balanced, paleo, pescatarian) you signed up for when you started your subscription.

If you are on the Keto or Vegetarian plan, your meals are selected for you, so you do not need to go into your account to make new meal selections. The Keto and Vegetarian meal plans are dedicated plans.

About Our Meals

Are meals delivered fresh or frozen?

All meals are delivered fresh for easy reheating in a conventional oven or microwave. We do not provide frozen meals. To learn more about how to reheat your meals, scroll down to the question: How should I reheat my meals?

Can I see a sample menu?

A sample menu of breakfasts, lunches, dinners, snacks and desserts is available under MENUS on the website.

The menus section also feature snacks, juices and bars from our Add-Ons store. Weekly menus for Keto and Vegetarian meal plans are available in the menus section as the weekly specials for the À La Carte plan.

Can I see a menu of the weekly specials?

We change out our weekly specials every week in My Meals in your account. To see what we offer each week, a weekly specials menu is available under MENUS in the top navigation bar of the website.

How should I reheat my meals?

Meal containers are microwave safe but not oven safe. The lid is not and should be removed before placing the meal container into the microwave. The lid will melt if left on the meal container. Side sauces and garnishes should also be removed before reheating. Please remove food from containers when using an oven. Reheat meals in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes until heated through or microwave on 50% power for 2-3 minutes or until heated through (microwave times may vary).

What type of ingredients does Fitness Kitchen use?

All meals are freshly made, non-GMO, free of preservatives, hormones or antibiotics. We only use locally-sourced ingredients including grass-fed beef, free-range poultry and eggs, wild-caught fish and seasonal produce that is certified organic whenever possible. We offer meals that are 100% soy, dairy and gluten free in our À La Carte menu. There is some soy and dairy in our Vegetarian meal plan. There is some dairy in our Keto meal plan.

Can I order dinner (or breakfast or lunch) ONLY?

Minimum order for meal plans is 2 meals daily, you select the type of meals you want (breakfast, lunch, dinner).

What if I have a food allergy ?

With À La Carte we offer a wide variety of meals and a full list of ingredients for each meal so you can select the meals that best work for you and any allergies you have.

For Keto and Vegetarian meal plans, we allow up to 2 items to omit for allergies or food sensitivities.

YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR DETERMINING WHETHER ANY FOOD ALLERGIES MAY OCCUR. Fitness Kitchen is not responsible for any allergic or adverse reactions you might have to any of our meals.

What if I have a medical condition?

If you are on medication or under a doctor’s care for a medical condition you must consult your doctor before beginning a new meal program. Meal plan are not meant to replace or supersede any doctor-prescribed diet program. Fitness Kitchen’s plans do not replace a physician’s advice; if you are using our meal plans as part of a doctor-prescribed diet, you shall be ultimately responsible for ensuring compliance with such diet. Furthermore, if you have diabetes or other medical conditions of any kind, you shall be responsible for maintaining your diet to ensure compliance with the requirements of such conditions. Our meal recommendations shall not be deemed medical advice.

How do I Select My Meals for À La Carte Each Week?

What features can I manage when logged into my account?

You can make the following changes in your account:

  1. Skip Days (except on Thursday after 9pm for the following week).
  2. Update subscription days and types of meals if on a dedicated meal plan.
  3. Select new meals, add more meals and update the days you want meals each week if on À La Carte.
  4. Update your delivery address.
  5. Add a new payment method.
  6. Remove a payment method.
How can I change my delivery address?

Simply log into your account and click on the option “Delivery Address” to update the address. Please note that any delivery address changes can take up to 72 hours to go into effect.

How do I make changes to my account?

All changes to weekly recurring subscriptions must be made through your account by Thursday at 9pm PST for the following week’s deliveries. Clients are responsible for submitting account changes, no adjustments can be made after Thursday at 9pm PST. Fitness Kitchen clients will be responsible for all charges relating to any order processed after the cutoff date/time.

What is Your Cancellation Policy?

Cancellation requests must be emailed to us at info@fitnesskitchenla.com. Orders can be cancelled for a 100% refund up to 7 days prior to the start of your plan. For cancellations up to 4 days prior to the start of your program, Fitness Kitchen will refund 50% of the plan cost. Within 4 days of your plan start date, no refunds will be issued; however, you can have it sent to someone else.

What are acceptable forms of payment?

We accept all major U.S. credit and debit cards. If you opted in for a subscription, you will be automatically charged on a recurring weekly basis, on the Thursday prior to each week’s delivery.

Will I be charged for days I skip?

You can skip days in your subscription at any time by logging into your account and making that change under the “Skip Days” option. You will not be charged for skipped days as long as you make the change into your account by Thursday before 9pm for the following week.

Is there a pause option for vacation?

All changes to weekly recurring subscriptions must be made through your account by Thursday at 9pm PST for the following week’s deliveries. Clients are responsible for submitting account changes, no adjustments can be made after Thursday at 9pm PST. Fitness Kitchen clients will be responsible for all charges relating to any order processed after the cutoff date/time.

What makes Fitness Kitchen different from other meal delivery services?

At Fitness Kitchen, we’re firm believers that all calories are NOT created equal. While caloric intake is important as it relates to your fitness goals, our meal go a step further and are built around a specific ratio of macronutrients (proteins, carbohydrates and fats). Each meal has a specially designed macronutrient profile to help you reach your health and fitness goals. Whether you’re looking to lose weight, maintain your current profile or fuel performance and build muscle, Fitness Kitchen meals can help you achieve your goals.

Is there a discount for long-term or group orders?

Do you offer any incentives for referrals?

Subscribers can receive $50 OFF their next week of deliveries for every person referred by them that purchases a meal plan from Fitness Kitchen. We allow one $50.00 referral credit to be used per week, no stacking. For instance, if a subscriber has $100 in referrals, they receive $50 off of one week at a time, meaning that $100 would apply to 2 weeks of service at $50 each.
In order to participate in our referral program, subscribers must email the names of their referrals to info@fitnesskitchenla.com, as we track referrals only via email. Once a subscriber’s referral has made a meal plan purchase, the $50 discount will be applied to that referee’s next week of service.

What is your cancellation policy?
